Documenting and Protecting India's Biodiversity

The Indian Foundation for Butterflies Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to research, education, conservation, and policy advocacy to safeguard India's rich biodiversity.

Ensuring Coexistence

We are committed to making a positive impact on the planet by ensuring coexistence of biodiversity and people during India's economic growth and improvement of human societies. Thus, biodiversity should thrive not only in natural landscapes, but also in human-dominated landscapes.

Our Biodiversity-and-Environment Initiatives

We Support Native Biodiversity

Habitat loss, habitat degradation, invasive species, and climate change are major contributors to loss of native biodiversity. We encourage preservation and restoration of native biodiversity-friendly plants and habitats, and promoting sustainable habitat management practices for the long-term preservation of biodiversity.
