We encourage preservation and restoration of native biodiversity-friendly plants and habitats, and promoting sustainable habitat management practices for the long-term preservation of biodiversity.

We spearhead the Biodiversity Atlas - India citizen science web-platform that documents biodiversity across the length and breadth of India, with participation from ordinary citizens and professional scientists alike

We conduct educational and outreach programmes to help create a society that cares for its environment, biodiversity, and coexistence of humans and nature.
We Provide Professional Training on Biodiversity
We provide professional training in biodiversity research and conservation by conducting field as well as indoor workshops, courses, and summer schools. Our flagship training programmes include Biodiversity Fellowships, an experiential, full-time, one-year training programme for pre-doctoral students.
We Produce Educational Materials on Biodiversity and the Environment
It is necessary to produce high-quality materials such as books, brochures and mobile apps to assist in educational and outreach activities. IFB Trust produces such materials in English as well as several regional languages.
We Help Protect Endangered Species
We help state forest departments' efforts to conserve endangered species by providing critical information on their biology and conservation.
