The Indian Foundation for Butterflies Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to research, education, conservation, and policy advocacy to safeguard India's rich biodiversity
We spearhead:
(1) the Biodiversity Atlas - India citizen science web-platform (https://www.bioatlasindia.org) that documents biodiversity across the length and breadth of India using participation from ordinary citizens and professional scientists alike,
(2) Our flagship training programmes include Biodiversity Fellowships, which is an experiential, full-time, one-year training programme for pre-doctoral students, and
(3) We produce brochures, books and mobile apps to assist in citizen science projects, nature education and outreach activities.
There are many ways to get involved with the IFB Trust, such as volunteering for our research, educational and outreach activities, participating in events, funding our initiatives, and donating for other causes. See further information on this website.
